I'm so late to this issue it's ridiculous.
I listened to all the eps regarding the Keith vs. Chemda discussion without accessing the forums and this is how I read it: Chemda is so sensitive about this issue that she eventually lost her focus (I love you, woman, but you-are-not-listening!). It's completely unreasonable to think that Keith believes that you don't have rights in the workplace - not to mention all the other issues that came up. I do not understand how it's possible to disagree with either argument, really: 1) if you're working in any kind of adult related industry you will get some kind of backlash regarding the nature of your job. 2) you can and you should get another job if you're uncomfortable and let some other dummy take your place. 3) you should fight for your rights all the time. But it sounds ridiculous to expect that if you work in porn you won't get fucked in the ass and if you work at hooters you won't get grabbed. It's actually very naive to think otherwise. (Now off to read all the back replies!) |
