I don't think so. The author was always listed as Arthur Golden. While people may have just thought it was true, it was never implied from the book or it's author that it was actually a "Memoir". It was published as a work of fiction, which just happened to have "Memoir" in the title, not published as a non-fictional memoir, like the crappy Oprah book. |
