ok one more time tell us how nurse practitioners are soooooo much better than doctors

they sit down and talk to you? any doc who doesn't is a sorry fuck who shouldn't be practicing
and this GREAT NP who said the speculum is no larger than a penis before a pelvic exam doesn't sound too empathetic anyway

some pts like to talk and joke to releave the tention of the moment, others want you to shut the fuck up and get it over with; I would think you're the latter; there's nothing to say that will make it any easier so you just let them know that you know this is uncomfortable and you hurry the fuck up and maybe babble about random stuff to fill the air

a medical provider who can't read that body language sucks balls

whatever doc treated you like shit in the past doesn't represent the whole race

you don't know what my people have been through!
