My mom had me when she was 40. My bio father was a few years older. I've never been diagnosed as autistic. So there's some hope.
I don't think riding a bicycle is too dangerous where I live - we have lots of bike lanes. I did break my arm riding a bike when I was 8, though. But that's because my friend wasn't paying attention and cut me off. Great guests! |

Stephen Hawking is against sentient robots
In this interview he says how dangerous he explains that within a few years we have a machine smart enough to make improvements to itself until it can outsmart us all. (around 2:30 mark) Imagine a machine with the mechanical dexterity of Stephen Hawking but with the brains of STEPHEN HAWKING Also John accuses Stevie H of being a sentient robot. I think I'd rather skydive than ride a bike through the city

Well if you compare time spent vs injuries sustained, skydiving is (way) more dangerous. But if the measure is amount of fun had vs injuries sustained, I'm gonna say skydiving is the winner.
Which is a good point. Two weeks ago I was thrown from a horse at full gallop. I've come off my motorcycle and I've gotten acute mountain sickness while mountain climbing - all this year. I do these things for fun an all of them are more dangerous than pushbike riding. I've stacked my pushie a few times, but no broken bones so far. So is bike riding dangerous? Yeah a bit. Is it TOO dangerous? No totally worth it.

Skydiving is either very safe or very fatal (generally). You're also more likely to pack your own rig and double check your gear before going up, than you are to check your tyre pressures and check your brakes.
Bike riding is waaay more likely to fuck you up in a non-fatal manner and reduce your arm to mush. |

That's stupid:

I've never had a pack of skydivers block a lane, all dressed up like something from Lance Armstrong's wet dream, as they selfishly ponce their way off to brunch at some wanky outdoor cafe. I think we need to increase the number of bike fatalities. |
