It takes 18+ years to raise a kid. Most new mothers have less than 3 months to try and nurse, bond, and raise a child. Then they go back to work. Then they run home on breaks to nurse. Then they use gas money they don't have on lunch breaks, to run their infant to some strange baby-sitters across town...

People fuck. People have kids. This is a given. Maybe instead of acting like it's solely a woman's responsibility to work harder at working AND raising a child. We start seeing more childcare at work, show more compassion to this part of the workforce that busts their ass, and quit acting like your life experience is all that is.

Yes, my wonderful toolbox analogy did do that.

I'm not a fan of "<insert cause here> Day", or the NFL wearing Pink for a month to "raise awareness" etc (kudos to Bill Burr for that one as IDGAF about NFL).

I believe women should not be discriminated against because they are women. I believe that they should get whatever they're aiming at on their merit alone, as opposed to some quota system (for example).

Women shouldn't need a "day", and I don't believe having a "day" makes any difference.
