However - I did think Ian was interesting, that wasn't a joke. And I did want to hear where he was going with the "marriage is prostitution" before he started back-peddling.

Dry humour is difficult in short forum snippets and if you stick a "" in its like saying something funny and adding "wacka wacka" to make sure everyone knows its a joke - automatically rendering it unfunny.

So when I say "obviously a joke" - well I thought I made it obvious.

Oh my dearest Rosa you always have a way of putting things correctly. THIS is what pissed me off so much: he couldn't even understand how a woman who's married can be in the workforce, there was an assumption that when women get married they stop working and live off their husbands' money (hence whores).

In all my years as a listener, as a VIP, as someone who listened to the entire back catalogue after having found KATG in 2008, I probably stopped two or three times mid episode. Keith and Chemda always find a way to turn things around. As skilled as they are this was just torture for me and I had to stop it.
