I don't know what Chemda's definition of conservative is, but hearing her talk about her father-in-law struck me as the exact type of reasoning she takes issue with regarding religious people who don't adhere strictly to religious texts. I mean, yeah, he watches Fox News, loves guns and is a minister who almost certainly votes Republican, but...? That's pretty darn conservative. You can go back and forth on fine points, but he's certainly not aligned with most of the political views espoused on this show.

Still, very happy that he's such a positive in Chemda's life. Goes to show that it takes all kinds, which is nice to see.
