I'm with Chemda on this fat kid thing. I think Keith is thinking how he would feel, were he a fat kid whose mom put him on TV, back with all his shitty small town with bullies and how bad he would be teased. A mean a bunch of shitty strangers on the internet are going to make fun of him but who cares? Having his feelings validated by getting his own news segment probably feels great and just as there are assholes making fun of him, he's getting support from strangers too.

Vocabulary wise, I think back in my school days I would prob say "You dissin me?" or "Don't talk about my mama!" "Don't try to play me!" wouldn't use respect until like 13 or 14
