I feel deeply sympathetic for your fragile masculinity being bruised by mentions of regal insignia currently worn by your *gasp* female monarch - QE2 FTW.

Or was it the more traditionally gendered tiara mention? You are being attacked soooo hard right now because being female is clearly the worst.
Hang on did I miss something? Am I supposed to apologise for being sexist here?

No I'm trying to figure out how Sparrow personally attacked you and that was the only points I could find.

Unless you quoted her to show how I attacked you and that would be pretty sexist.

Fair enough - I'm just saying she said "enjoy your tiaras", as well as mentioning the wand, to belittle my argument . I meant ad hominem attack, I don't feel offended.

I did enjoy your response though.

no. but you could for dismissing my philosophy on art like i don't know what the fuck i'm talking about. if you honestly need to see the art crown to hear and appreciate someone talk about something so enormously human, make no mistake mine's weighty enough.

IT WAS A METAPHOR FOR YOUR FEELING LIKE THERE'S A GATEKEEPER TO ARTISTIC EXPRESSION.

Have you ever been a situation where you took offence you were wrong?

But hey some people are right by default I think I learned about that fact in history class at some point.

But this is kind of obtuse to the point I made - saying you are sorry when you don't know why you should be sorry isn't sorry at all.

or to put it another way - if someone does me wrong Id prefer them to 1/ make amends if possible 2/ not do it next time and 3/ apologise.

Definitely in that order.

If you do not know what you did wrong, or if the wrong was completely inadvertent you cannot do step 1 or 2

Ok so we all agree that associating somebody with anything female related is belittling them - that's beautiful and helps my Trump got elected because of misogyny thesis. Thanks!

I'm not saying you don't know what you are talking about and lots of experts (although by no means most) would agree with you.

Doesn't make it any more sensical.

I don't think this is the sort of conversation that would ever go anywhere on a forum. So feel free trash me or my argument one more time and we we can end it there.

Maybe one day we can resolve it over a glass of chardonnay (although I doubt there is enough chardonnay on the planet to get us to agree on this)

No my point exactly:
1) hear somebody tell you you are wrong
2) think about it
3) research or ask for help if you don't get it
4) then decide if you fucked up and need to apologize

That's why I'm more mad at the girl because she had ages to reflect and most likely a publicist on hand to help her formulate a response vs the dude being asked by TMZ that night.

Don't get me wrong he fucked up as well, potentially worse because as Chemda mentioned he had a Teleprompter.

According to your logic nobody needs to apologize for a first offense because that only comes after point 2.
So who decides if you fucked up the first time? You? Your publicist? The media? Some random tumblr fan that reads all your interviews?
What if you were racist to black people but this time you are racist to asians? Is that one offense or two?
