I think that's a fair question.

I was a teeny tiny bit confused by that when I first started listening ages ago. And it's so much more relevant to be questioned nowadays.

But Chemda always had a valid explanation for it and now it's a trademark so why change it.

Would it have been awesome for Chemda to have felt comfortable in getting her name out loud and proud from the start? Sure! But she is rocking it proudly now and that's all that counts.

Several possible thoughts occur for answers, to me. 1) "Inaccurate." 2) "Your opinion has been noted." 3) "Have you ever heard an episode of the show?" 4) "You're right. Chemda is downtrodden indeed."
