Aggressive Chemda and Yes Everyone Is Trying To Trick Keith
Posting in here bc the KATGuh Awards are a fun walk down memory lane for the year. Since I’m listening to old shows it is a lot of fun to hear early stories that evolve into reoccurring themes.
Two stories in KATG Episode 16 that demonstrate Chemda’s growth into an aggressive badass: 1. Keith and Chemda were members at LA Fitness crushing it with the body for life workout and the dumbdumb trainer who used two hands to hold the hands free cellphone headset (what a dweeb), and had no apparent knowledge that dumbbells are not actually “nontransportable,” and forbid Keith and Chemda from moving dumbbells to their machine. Keith relayed the trainer’s rule and Chemda says “So? Did you tell him no?” Chemda then walked over to tell the guy what’s good. She was polite verbally but internally seething. I love that present-day Chemda unleashes her aggressiveness like it is a superpower to rage against injustice. Get it, Girl! 2. Chemda and Keith were invited to work a cruise with a promise that they would only work a certain amount of time and then enjoy a work free weeklong cruise. Then once they were on the boat they were handed an itinerary by the grimey agent who was trying to trick them (Keith is right, people are tricksters!) So Chemda gives that grimey agent the business and stands her ground so the agent wasn’t able to completely ruin their cruise experience. I love Chemda’s aggression when she is slaying the evil tricksters of the world. This episode brought me so much joy, I wonder what the old Episode 16 Chemda and Keith would think if they knew in 2019 they would have over 3000 episodes and a community who loves them dearly❤️ |

I thought this when it happened, but hearing the stories back to back like this it seemed so obvious I can't believe I have to be the one to bring it up:
Chemda's leg was probably nearly broken on the first unbreakable incident, which is how she was able to so thoroughly destroy it just walking down the street. I'm not a doctor or anything, but I've broken a lot of bones (nothing as horrible as that leg, but bad enough.) |

You broke a bone and never felt it and walked around normally and then one day it jumped to the other side of its track?

Was it a different leg? I don't know if that's what you're saying. So mysterious.
But yes, I probably broke my clavicle falling down some stairs because a week later I got pushed into a wall and it was broken. I also broke my wrist playing football (in my yard, not with adults) and kept playing and it seemed fine but then I got tackled again and it was broken. It's as valid an explanation as "Chemda's had a bad year" anyway. |
