I am amazed that there are people's lives that are so boring, that they find listening to Dawn and Drew Invigorating.... i pity them...

Dawn and Drew was the first podcast I listended to but at the beginning of the year I got tired with the mediocre show they produce where nothing happens and stumbled onto KATG. I was instantly impressed with how much better your show was.

I really think the only reason they're still around is because Adam Curry keeps the carrot (or Twinkie, Dawn?) dangled in front of them. They throw together shows, most on a Sunday just so they can meet their PodShow contract requirements. Well fuck them. KATG kicks all the podcasts' asses.

I have enjoyed Sigler's work since halfway through EarthCore when I got into it, but it's a shame he's a member of Podshow.

Exactly. No one with talent/ambition should be a member of podshow, especially Scott Sigler, since he's actually getting stuff published through his podcast (EarthCore) and podshow has that fucked up contract. I hope they don't screw him out of some kind of publishing deal with their "own all your shows" bullshit.

Is it just me or is D&D's current quality worse than KATG's starting quality?

I started podcasts with Dawn and Drew and made about 5 episodes before I discovered KATG (Episode 30). D&D made it about 2 more episodes. Still with KATG.

I noticed of late that I don't deal with bullshit anymore, I ask telephone operators "What are WE going to do now", I don't feel embarrassed about my 10 toilet roll a week habit and I have a habit of telling people what I really think. Its liberating and I feel so much more in control of my life.
