After listening to what his handlers made him read on his most recent show, I'm now officially ticked off. I don't pity him any longer. I understand he signed that crappy podshow contract and is now contractually locked into doing what Adam Curry wants him to do for the rest of his life, but you have to figure there has to be a line that his puppet masters cannot make him cross. Evidently not. He actually challenged Keith to a knife fight. Something that would be plausible if this PCH puppet was a Jet and Keith was a Shark.

His writers also make him point out that he was written about in Playboy magazine. To be honest, I didn't even know this magazine was still published. If I remember correctly, it's mainly known for publishing the airbrushed photos of naked 22 year old woman. Just how does he fit into the magazine that allows men that can't figure out how to use the Internet, but still want to see nudity? Don't get me wrong. Being written about in Playboy would be something to brag about if it was 1986. The thing is, it's 2006. Hearing that he was written about in Playboy magazine is a lot like finding out that your 10th grade science teacher is still teaching at your old high school. Interesting I guess, but also just a little sad.

Okay. I back feeling sorry for him. I thought I was just ticked off, but now I'm a little of both.

Playboy, from what I understand, is just a shell of what it used to be, kind of like the Rolling Stone magazine. Like you said, it was big years ago, and being featured there now is still good on his behalf, but no longer something that can be treated like the Holy Grail. The Wall Street Journal on the other hand shows that not only do you have respect, but it's also with people who aren't just looking to jack-off.

Sure, he has money, but Keith and Chemda are going from strength to strength, and who knows, maybe one day they'll get the show on satellite radio, but it will due to their own hard work, and not just piggybacking on Adam Curry's back so as to fill up air time.

I guess the main thing is that I don't feel sorry for him, but something worse - I just don't care.

No one has mentioned it yet so I will, Those beds ROCK! I have one and love it, yes they are expensive but tis a great investment as spooky mentioned. Also fucking on them is Great! You can almost bang away a little harder as the bed acts as a shock absorber

Indeed. It's just strange that an adult can have so much pent up rage and hatred for someone he doesn't know and have to resort to "I'm richer than you." I haven't heard such pathetic drivel like his rant since I was in school.

That really did feel like him grasping at straws. While I don't agree with his view on KATG, I think that the point he lost the battle was when he started using profanities and just nonsensical insults to get one up on Keith and Chemda. Calling people a fag or ugly is a very basic way of arguing, and one that serves no purpose other than showing you are unable to construct a proper argument. I mean, he could have brought attention to Keith's speech, or if he wanted to be topical, then make a comment on the current situation in Israel, and as a homage to Mel Gibson, start some jew related rant about Chemda.

I never believed the audience figures bandied about by the Podshow folks -- ten million for DSC IIRC, despite where it languishes at podcastalley -- but hidden in all that frightened insecurity acting-out talk was another gemlike compliment. From nowhere, off your own back, organically and with no compromises, even these guys admit you today reach 10% of a Sirius Radio syndicated Podshow equivalent, and we know you're growing from Alexa. No wonder there's some freaking out! "Fuucking awwsome, dude!"
