Setting up a very specific list of requirements - I wouldn't do that myself but it's perfectly fine and sounds like it's supposed to take pressure away from your partner so that's lovely.

Having a secret additional requirement that your loving partner should just magically know is also the key ingredient for your happiness? That feels a little bit like trying to trick or set the partner up for failure.

I understand it's hard trusting after what you went through Chemda but you got a good dude now - I know this is probably played up for comedic effect but pretty please - chill if this is a 'first offense' I'm sure you are well versed to explain this better than it came across here.

If it's important enough to choreograph the entire day, then choreograph the ENTIRE day. Had you left dinner off the master list, Xerxes would have figured it out on his own. Leaving the card off the list is setting him up for failure because so far, according to the science of the poll, cards are not important.
