Bail disproportionately affects the poor and minorities. Bail happens before one is ever found guilty. There are countless stories of people being arrested and not able to afford bail so they sit in jail for days to months before their trial. In the meantime they lose their job and sometimes their children are taken away. And after all of that it turns out the cops got the wrong guy. It only works for people who can afford to buy their freedom.

That specific case isn’t indicative of the entire practice.

I got to meet Don years ago in Atlanta at a convention gig that we were both playing. Super cool, down to earth dude. I even told him about KATG! I hope he missed my band's set because we sucked that night!

For the maybe one person who is interested, Tziva Pick (the dad of the 30yr old who is married to Quentin Tarantino)'s most famous song is "Diva," written for Dana International's 1998 Eurovision appearance. Israel won that year and Dana International broke many barriers for LGBT rights as she is transgender.

Here's her singing after Israel is announced the winner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fv83u7-mNWQ

Thanks for the info.

That seems pretty fucking insignificant in terms of restraint/punishment for a murderer and serial abuser.
