To be honest JFOD and Jess scare the shit out of me. It makes me realize that how close we all may be to going batshit crazy. When she started talking at the beginning, I was like "Please breathe, Please breathe." Someone I am close too is going thru some mental health issues and they sound exactly like Jess did at the beginning of the show. Freaks me the fuck out.

Sadly, I can relate to the extra-quarantine texting. Even though quarantine has improved the relationship I’m in, there’s kinks in the armor. I still feel that pull. It could be many things, not just attention or validation.

It could be issues or needs in the relationship that you try to supplement with others outside it who somehow readily give you those things. And it only complicates it further if they’re pursuing you. Or maybe it’s plain lust. Maybe it’s greed. Maybe I’m just a dick. I really don’t know.

It feels like the good sex and the way we’re surprisingly getting along in this shared space is actually masking our roadblocks, because it’s simpler to live on easy mode and indulge, than to drudge through something. We’re both “essential”, we don’t have the endless time others might. The only thing that seems to have changed is our physical closeness and the frequency of sex. I realize I might even be dickmatized, for lack of a better word. Maybe that’s exactly what you have to be in order to have mask sex, so I’m thinking it’s probably what Jess and I have in common.
