Most profound and insightful comment of the year, so far:

Keith: "This is a hell of your own making"

I thought Betsy was an absolute delight, and this episode was top-notch.

I don't think it means that at all. I think they quit with what two weeks left. they could have stayed and signed the 25th paperwork removing him from office if he had crossed a line for them. No, I think they are cowards who are standing up to nothing and no line was crossed for them except the obvious fall of popularity which they would like to avoid.

Yup if they really disagreed they could have stayed to do their fucking jobs and make sure things don't get worse. Instead they walked away and tried to make it seem like they were standing up for something. When in fact they stood for themselves and nothing else.

100,000,000% agree

They had an opportunity to do something honorable and instead chose one final act of cowardice is the hopes of salvaging their own reputations.

I was picturing Marc Cuban until I looked it up, you know he does the “talking to you while looking over your shoulder for someone better” thing.

Serious question - is it possible to have that much money and be a normal well adjusted person? I feel like for every billionaire there must be dozens of stories like that.

Warren Buffett sounds like he might be well adjusted. It doesn't help when the world literally caters to you. If you weren't a narcissists before, you can easily become one because you actually do become star of your life.
