Casey sure is an awesome guest! This whole episode was hilarious. I loved the extended food rant, really edging on Most Ridiculous Moment stuff there. I’d nominate Kyle for being so ridiculous. It makes me mad every time Keith talks about this; I don’t know why. Actually I do know why: it’s totally wasteful to act like that, Kyle!!! Goddammit!

Also I did nominate Casey for Best Casey, 2021. Let’s get Casey that KATGuh!

Shows with Casey are always great in my opinion.
He is a male comedian who doesn’t have a huge ego and can make fun about himself.
I think that he is a really nice and sweet person, very sleepy but sweet.

Also, he is the best guest for joining in on advertisements.

OH yeah. EVERY other guest that talks during an ad makes me cringe. Casey however makes me feel giddy.

I used to be a super picky eater until I hit my late teens, and now I have almost no sympathy for people who don’t like eating most foods. It’s like, have you ever even TRIED eggplant? It’s actually better than chicken fingers. For me it was all psychological, I didn’t like vegetables because I didn’t try a lot of them before, and then once I let go of the idea that I didn’t “like” vegetables and tried them, I started to like them.

For me the gateway drug to eating different foods was just cooking them with lots of garlic.
My mom was always the "you have to try everything, but of you don't like it, you don't have to eat it." Looking back, I think this was a great way to handle it, because I never had to go in thinking I'd be forced to eat anything, so I could be honest about the food.

That being said, I can be picky (e.g., I don't like most seafood), but I'm willing to try things again every few years, or if someone can change what I hate about it (e.g., southern greens, like collards or mustard greens, are awfully bitter unless you cook them right)

If it wouldn’t be for the smell, I would eat garlic every day, with every meal.
It might be my priming.
This is the breakfast my grandmother made for me, the food of poor people:

Garlic bread soup. You take old bread, cut it in pieces and cook it with spices, lots and lots of garlic and butter.
I loved it.
