Based on what I’ve read about the Rust movie death I don’t know how anyone could blame Alec for the AD’s death. There were multiple people who supposedly checked the gun and said it was cold including the person who handed it to Alec. Alec isn’t an expert in firearms so he has to trust that the experts gave him the correct information. And it wasn’t a pleasant death either-I feel horrible for him and everyone who witnessed it.

Great episode! JFOD is always entertaining, but also brings in some bullshit. I know KATG listeners aren't stupid but please people, take note that he is literally insane. I really appreciate K+C reminding us of that when he's on. I hate saying that because I don't want to further stigmatize mental illness. Also there's a lot that he says that most of us can agree with before things tip over into conspiracy territory. Diving into concepts that he touched on like manufactured consent, materialist history and late stage capitalism are 100% worthwhile and (imho) rational. I don't know what it is about vaccines that sends some people's brain trains down the wrong track but it's very common.

It makes me also mad because for example the biontech/ Pfitzer study was a fast but beautiful and convincing study.
It could be done because biontech worked so much on RNA technology before.
And the long term effects of not taking the vaccine are for many:
Being dead.

I feel like we do need fact checkers who are not biased because of how easily misinformation spreads. Governments don’t have a good history with doing this though and there will always be a huge risk of misuse and over reach.
