Btw my phone doesn't do the spy stuff so much.
Yes when I for example look for new running shoes it starts showing me them everywhere.

But it doesn't do it from speech or taking a picture.
I have theories.

1. I have always deactivated the location unless I use Google maps. After using I turn it off again.
2. It's an android.

Bingo. The mic is way more secure in Android. The OS now shows a green dot when any app is using your mic. PS you can also cycle your AID and MAC (some apple devices do this now) to keep the ads guessing.

Maybe the mic is, but the apps are definitely not more secure in Android.

I've seen advertisements just pop up on people's phones even when they weren't in their browsers. I was flabbergasted. I guess they downloaded some third-party apps and one of them started pushing ads onto their phone. Or it could've been malware.

Depends what you install on your phone, what permissions you give etc. Is a pro and con of being able to install "unapproved" and "unmonitored" by Apple apps.
