Has everyone who has ever done heroine become an addicted junky? No. The mechanism of addiction are very well understood (I know the touchy feely BS going around now how it's whether you identify as an addict or not etc etc but the actual medical terminology and mechanisms is what I mean) and single use by definition cannot create addiction. It requires dosed chronic use...think of it as brain diabetes it's not just one donut and your whole life if fucked.
