Or save it for next time you are over because then they know that they have some alcohol at their house that they know you like.

I have left many a JD bottle around the midwest although I know none of my friends will touch it. If it gets drank by someone else at a different party, so be it.

YES. I buy weird things sometimes knowing my friends won't drink them and I'll have it there for later. Consider it free storage.

Actually, my friends are drunks so they'll drink it even if they don't like it.

Granted, I also have a 6-pack of chocolate beer in my crisper drawer that someone left behind 2 years ago. I sampled it once and its horrible, but I feel terrible throwing it out.
