Two of my co-workers come in every Thursday morning talking about the episode of Ghost Hunters that they'd seen the night before. I believe there may be some sort of supernatural stuff in the world but I generally believe that anyone who appears on television claiming to speak to the dead or see ghosts is full of shit and just after money (John Edward, etc).
Anyway, they caught me the week they claimed they were going to be investigating the Tate house where Manson's people murdered Sharon Tate and several other people. I mostly wanted to see the house. But it turns out that house was torn down years ago and now apparently Sharon is haunting a condo building that is at least a football field away from where she was murdered. So I was already disappointed when the episode began. Then the guys get all freaked out and terrified when the vertical blinds start moving....you know, because it's not like that place probably had the central air running and there was probably a vent right underneath the fucking blinds near the window or anything!! I turned that shit off right after that. I have a hard time not laughing at these women in my office every week that they come in all freaked out about the ghosts that they didn't see on the show the night before. **That James Fray dude claimed his memoir was real because he'd already shopped around a fictional novel that was VERY similar and no publisher would take it. As soon as he claimed it had really happened to him then he gets this huge book deal.

I am terrified now.
Supposed to have surgery on Thursday. Bummer. Big bummer. Don't think I'll get to perform in NO now because if I get on an airplane 2 wks post-surg it might cause blood clots. Plus my bday is Sat the 15th... Was supposed to have a party... Now I'll be eating Ben & Jerry's in bed while watching Project Runway reruns. SUCKS. |

Look on the bright side. Laying around, eating all of that ice cream will give you some nice junk in the trunk, right??? Good luck and best wishes to you with your surgery. |

Good luck with the surgery. Hopefully it'll go well, you'll be back on your feet in a few weeks and hell even with a bum foot, who says you can't drink it up and have a great birthday? Have the party and get your friends to wait on you. I mean, after all what's the point of having a birthday if you can't have slaves?
