The virtual fashion game for girls
As the website is in the UK, I suspect that children under the age of 13 probably need permission to create an account. How they confirm the age of the child, I'm not sure I would believe or understand.
Keith raised the point that they have naked bimbos, you have to remember that the British have no problem with displaying breasts... Several of the 'popular' newspapers have what they call page 3 girls... so called because an 18 to 22 year old woman displays her breasts on page three, although in some papers it is page 7. No Brit I knew understood why there was a problem in the US when Janet Jackson flashed her nipple on TV a few years ago, as they even will show them during the day on TV. Not often, but it occurs often enough that kids don't even think twice about them. Last edited by whatotherway; 03-26-2008 at 03:44 AM. |

Misspoke vs outright lie: My wife and I laugh when watching 'Law & Order' when one of the lawyers says "Withdrawn." What kind of undo is that? Can I use that?
"Honey, I jerk off into your mouth when you're asleep." "What‽" "Withdrawn?" "Dammit." |

Desultory
Desultory is the term they used to describe KATG in the excerpt about pod casts. It generally means something/someone that doesn't stick to any single subject. It is not necessarily derogatory, especially since you do cover a broad range of topics/interests.

I think anybody who's heard more than two or three of your shows will be well aware that you're nowhere near the Midwest. I'm thinking you're right in your assumption that this guy's referring to Dawn and Drew.

woohoo! lots of UK stuff today. I know nothing of the bimbo game, but here is the info on the podcast radio show.
The presenter is Colin Murray and he speaks with a Northern Ireland accent. The podcast he mentioned was "Fighting Talk", which is a radio sports quiz he presents, which is also released in podcast form. Quite funny, but you have to understand British sport to get any of the jokes. The other guy, who confused Dawn and Drew with KATG, is David Hepworth. He speaks with a pretentious posh Northern accent a bit like Tony Wilson used to. He's an old-school TV presenter and media guy. He presented Live Aid in 1985 - he was the one Bob Geldof said "FUCK the address!" to live on air. www.davidhepworth.com Well done on #694 and #695, both really good shows.
