Southern Hospitality
Hey KATG world,
I was just listening to the podcast and had to pause and join the forum to comisserate a bit. I am from New Jersey and have been down here in Alabama for the past 5 years I fully expecting the southern charm and hospitality that we yankees are always told about. It is all a f'ing myth. The only reason people are nice down here and act like they want to get to know you is so they can talk shiite about you. I always though gossip wan more the forte of the farer sex, but men down here don't have shit else to do and are whores for gossip. The only thing that surpases all of this is the blateny hypocrely. Go to church on Sunday and proclame JC as your lord and saver, the rest of the week whore around, drink, and have illegitabate children. These people love to tell me how I'm going to hell, desipite my saintly ways (add keiths little sniker). F'ing bull shit. I thout growing up in jersey everyone was was just jaded and cynical, but it turns out they are just being true and honest. Peace |

That hand dryer was made by the Dyson guy.
About the rolls of hand towels. NO, they don't just keep spinning around and around. The bar I frequent (and my boyfriend manages) has those. There's a roll of clean towel, and it rolls up dirty on a different roll. When the clean roll runs out, they take out the old and put in a new clean roll. They're laundered by the same company that does the bar towels and brought back clean. |

Talking of wrestling and the Undertaker, does anyone remember who the Undertaker's original manager was?

I am originally from Jersey and I have seen these rolling towel dispensers talked about in the show. So it really isn't just southern thing, but I believe they are being phased out as they are really expensive to maintain now.
They are not rolling in place, but there is a really really long cloth towel that is on a roll that rolls out new clean towels and used section is rolled onto another. When it is out of clean section, it stays stuck until the company that manages it replaces the roll and takes it to be washed at their facility. -Gunnar- |
