Runners world is the same f'ing thing month in month out, only the gear changes a bit. Its printed by rodale press who also publish prevention, womens health, and mens health. My wife had a subscription to prevention and its month in and out of eat healthier and let us regurgitate trendy healthy news you've heard on every news station, and by the way good luck finding the article amongst the skads of ads. I am a runner and (like Chemda) have picked up a copy of runners world for a flight, 6 mos later I picked up another copy, same shiite.

Also on the Boston Marathon, the chick is taking another woman's spot. Men and women have different qualifying times. The hubby probably didn't qualify for his men's division, but the time was good enough for a woman to qualify.

But she is taking the spot of a woman that would have qualified with her own time... Regardless of her husband not being able to qualify in the men's division, it's not HER time for her to qualify with... That would be like using somebody else's SAT scores to get into college.... It's cheating regardless.

No. They have a qualifying time. Not a set number of people who can qualify. No one is losing a spot unless her husband is out tackling them on their qualifying runs.
