Monty Python Cerebral
I've said for years the exact reason I list Monty Python as one of my three favorite British contributions to the world is that it is both cerebral and slapstick at the same time.
The ministry of silly walks is funny on both counts. John Cleese is walking around in a really crazy and (slapstick) way. See by that point in the sketch you've seen 5 or 6 other people doing crazy walks, but Cleese's is absolutely crazy funny! He's so tall and lanky. I'm not such a big fan of slapstick, but I gotta admit Monty Python does it so well I gotta laugh. My favourite thing about Monty Python and the MOSW sketch is that while Cleese is walking around doing the crazy walk, he's explaining to this guy who wants a government grant to develop his silly walk how tight funding it. He compares the Ministry of Silly Walks to the other government ministries: ministry of health, ministry of defense, ministry of .... So the joke is about how the government budgets money for stupid things and pays civil servants (government workers) to manage these stupid requests. I'd say Monty Python and the Holy Grail is funnier than the Meaning of Life. It's a spoof of King Arthur and his quest for the Holy Grail. There are running jokes that you might not get unless you watch the whole thing, but give it a try, maybe: Killer Bunny or She's a Witch scenes. Damn, I love these too. Knights Who Say... and the Black Knight. The Pythons all met at Cambridge University (the Ivy League of England like Harvard or Yale), John Cleese went on to write and star in what's often considered the tightest and funniest scripted sit-com of all times, Faulty Towers. Definitely a smart guy and all smart guys. I think it translates to cerebral comedy.

If your using iTunes, you can delete the grayed out show and then click the arrow next to the show to minimize it. Then if your on a mac option click or in windows alt click on the arrow to refresh the feed. This will give you a working download llink.
