Just for clarity. I have lived in Japan and in China for long times in each.

Japanese people are refined, subtle, polite, and classy.
Chinese people are scum.

That is probably why that chick got offended by the comic calling her Chinese. It wasn't about how she looked. It was about how they are totally different in every other way except looks and she is frustrated at having to be associated with "them".

The kid seems OK, but I agree that there's something strange about his story. Maybe it's that he doesn't talk much, but there are things missing from his stories. And while I don't want KATG to let just anyone in their home (keep safe...), it makes for some interesting situations.
