Dude, life is AWESOME! I know well how circumstances can suck, but we can learn to react positively to things that come our way.

I dont know the age requirement thing for the National Guard, but my 42 year old brother in law, who was in the Army in the 80's, joined the Guard in an infantry brigade. His getting in hinged more on physical fitness than (what they told him) other things like age, passing the drug test and/or concealing past criminal record. He passed and did better on his PT test than the guys 20 years younger and 6 months later did a tour in Ecuador on drug recon, burning up all the coke they find people trying to smuggle out of the country. The last day of the tour he slipped a disc and is now on a full medical.

First thing I thought about when Keith mentioned sending the gunner a ton of frisbees was a couple of guys tossing a frisbee back and forth and someone taking shots at the frisbee with a sniper rifle in between throws.

It is someone's job to handle the absentee ballots for each unit. Making sure everybody has access and whatnot.
