I think that's bullshit. My friend does stand up at a bar we frequent and he has jokes about fat people, people with aids, cutters and abortion. His close circle of friends (who are there every week to see the open mic he runs and performs in) consists of fat people (me?), cutters (me), people who've had abortions and a friend who has aids. We all laugh at his jokes. fuck that.
