I'm fairly certain that there would be plenty of fans who traveled a fair amount of distance to see Keith's standup, that you would be "escorted out" before anything escalated.

wii fit

I just wanted to make a quick defending comment about the wii and the wii fit game. While a person is most likely not going to lose major weight using wii fit, the game does have some merrit. Any game (such as wii fit or dance revolution) that gets lazy sloths (such as myself) off their asses is ok in my book. Personally, I don't have a lot of room in my home for gym equipment or weights, nor do I have the money (or time) to shell out for a gym membership, so I use the wii fit to keep active. Granted, its minimal activity and its not like going out for a run, but some of the activities on wii fit (and other wii games) can actually get your heart rate going at a pretty good clip. Again, a person is probably not going to lose 30 pounds just doing wii workouts, but its a step in the right direction. You gotta start somewhere.

Sand eater

To defend Chemda, when my son, now 8, was 3-4 he would eat sand from the daycare sand box. And he wasn't the only one who did.

Before we knew he was eating sand I had picked him up at daycare and he had poop in his diaper so I changed it before we left and I noticed there was sand in with the poop. He was always coming home with sand in his hair and shoes so I figured it worked its way into the diaper but we changed a few more sandy poops later in the week at home after a bath.

When we told them he had sand in his poop at daycare they were like 'yeah, the kids are always eating the sand in the sandbox...' We were like great! can you maybe stop them?

It's a great way to get Pinworms and that's just what all the kids need...

If you're gonna rag on Christian Bale, please continue to do so. I would avoid using his growly Batman voice as a point against him, though, since his voice was changed with a computer after the fact to sound deeper and gravely-er.

I agree. I don't own a Wii nor do I plan on owning one. I get my exercise at the gym. However, most Americans are lazy marshmallow pigs that will stand in line for 6 hours for free bacon. So, if you can trick them into exercise under the guise that they're playing video games, then go for it. It's better than nothing. The article even said that it doesn't work b/c people don't use it. That's why K&C were making fun of it. Nothing works if you don't use it. Stuff and things are funny that way.

Okay, i don't have a Wii, but I play over at a friends house occasionally. He has the Wii fit and though I'm not in as good a shape as I was in my 20s I am still pretty fit, but when we play the Snowboarding game (whatever the name of it is) I get more burn in my legs than going on a little jog. It's a lot more fun than pushups, situps or running; I don't have to buy/rent skii equipment, etc.

When people work out they are going for a long-term effect and it takes a lot of work before you start seeing results (rewards). With the Wii, you get immediate rewards (winning a game, beating your score) that keep you playing (excercising).
