I'm going to have to stop listening to the show during breakfast, between the tongue-off story and the melty-face description I'm not so hungry anymore.

Speaking of the monkey, in one article I read that woman's friends did say that they found her relationship with the monkey creepy. I wouldn't be surprised if something was going on there.

The thing that really irritates me about the Greyhound case is that this guy will get annual reviews by a mental health board to determine if he should be released into the community. The victim's family says they are prepared to go there every single year to make sure he doesn't get released. But annual reviews seem a little too common as far as I'm concerned. He should NEVER be released. I think once you go beyond a point of violence and show that your disease can cause fatal psychosis at any time, you no longer have the right to be part of the community. The family is also going to work to get a law passed that requires that any mentally ill person who murders someone has to be in a mental institution for life.

Can we play disorganized sports with you, Patrice?

Great show guys!

Four years is the perfect time to tell your mother, Chemda. If she's shocked or dismayed you can just say, "well it has been paying the bills for four years now."

I think I'm having a bit of a problem with the download...

It's not working when I direct download it from the site. :/

Aw man, I was wincing and uncomfortable during all that money talk. Down here, financial matters are just not discussed openly. I'm always surprised and a little taken aback when people ask me things like how much my house cost or what our income is.

Cultural differences are neat!

Yeah, while I would talk about it between family, close family that is, it is definately considered rude to ask someone else "How much was your home?" or "How much do you make?". Just rude.

I'd be happy to tell my siblings how much money I make, but I'm thankful for my career and salary. If I was scraping by with a low income, I'm sure I'd feel different.
