I do hope he doesn't take any of it to seriously. Lilly was definitely a little weird, so I don't think it's his fault entirely. Especially seeing as he doesn't have much experience with that sort of thing it seems.
But I do agree that the hand holding thing is a little much for a 3rd date. I think most people would find that a bit too intimate, and more of a couple's thing then a casual dating thing.
