NICE SINGING CHEMDA, holy shit that was soo good. I wish you'd get more stuff like this out there, that ethereal, emotional, almost newagey feel to it, Clannad, Anggun type stuff.. really cool stuff.

This song though sounds like it could be on the Top Gun soundtrack, a bit 80s in feel.

Still, fucking great stuff.

As i mentioned in my earlier post, get the "Conjure One" albums. The music is very atmospheric, with a World edge to it, and the tracks Chemda is on are simply amazing

Check the vid:

What do I search for in the iTunes store?

Sorry for all the questions, but searching Chemda didn't find them.

No problem, man. Search for "Conjure one", you'll find the self-titled and "Extraordinary Ways", Chemda is featured on both.

Her tracks on the s/t have her name on them, but for other stuff, you wont find it with the search engine (itunes kinda sucks that way)

Check out also: Dr Israel and Dreadtone International (Havent heard it yet. It's supposed to be dub oriented)

For what it's worth, i didnt even know about the show when i got the C1 albums (I'm a big Rhys Fulber fan) and her voice really got to me. It was lovely to know she was "the girl", afterwards.

Might I recommend one of my favorite singers then?
Mary Fahl from the band October Project... I love all of their stuff,
and all of hers.

Amazing singer. Perhaps the most beautiful voice I've ever heard.

Being a total fucking nerd, the robot conversation made me think of Marvin the Paranoid Android, and of course my favorite song.

Here's some brand new singing from Chemda. She performed last night at Rev Jen's Anti-Slam...hosted by Faceboy.

And here's video of Lauren performing.
