Karen you are not even close with the kid issue.
Chemda I dont think you hate children. Or want to kill all of them. It's just you dont like parents and wonder how anyone could want a kid when you could also have no kid. That's why when you talk about parents and families is mostly negative. ( " Paul you like your mother how disgusting! Thanks giving! The worst! The list goes on) I think it is because it was expected of you to have kids and its still a hot issue for you. No one should sell anyone on this issue. Just imagine how mad you would be if someone talked about childless people in a similar negative way. |

I will never share a toothbrush with a partner. Well, if it happens once or twice I won't freak out but I will ask them to not do it again.
Nobody really cleans a toothbrush properly, we just rinse it off. Plus, they're meant to kill off plaque (lots of bacteria), some people have bleeding gums or a lingering cold sore virus, etc. so I don't see it as the same as kissing if everyone has relatively decent hygiene before they're intimate. I also see it as a privacy and personal space thing. I've had partners not understand why I didn't want to share everything, including bathroom time. Just because you're sharing a life together doesn't mean you need to share germs all day, every day. Some things can just be yours. |

They're all just personal quirks. I grew up in a big family and I think it made me want my own space after so many years of sharing. I've learned to be more easy-going with my partner, who likes to share everything. There will always be some remnants of my childhood though.
I can't think of anything major. In the past: I had a partner who felt the need to announce every time they farted. After a while, I mentioned that they really didn't need to tell me every time it happens, especially if I can't smell it. If I heard it, why would I need to be told about it too? It's also not a big deal at all. I get that some people feel the need to vocalize every bodily function, but it's not for me. I don't mind if a partner uses my razor because it's not going into their mouth, but someone else may think it's gross if they draw blood or they're shaving their privates (you'd think I'd have a better word after listening to the show for years). With my partner now, we have productive convos about what we're comfortable with and not comfortable with and it's usually all good. Sometimes it's not worth worrying about. (the open cupboard thing would've driven me nuts though) |

I refuse to share toilet paper even if my partner and I are doing but stuff I mean once used flush it!
![]() Seriously why are you sharing a toothbrush, kissing and sharing a toothbrush are very different. I also don’t like sharing a hair brush that has hair in it. |
