Oh Keith, you GOTS to get an immersion blender! Soups, smoothies, curries, you name it, my life turned around once I got myself a (good) immersion blender!
You don't really need a hotpot for good stews. Just get a dutch oven and have a little patience (10 minutes to "make", 1~3 hours to just let simmer on the stove).

That's the dangerous territory that's really hard to navigate when you don't know how far the person instigating it will take it, it becomes a hostage situation that has no resolution. I hope Saadia takes the time to use this energy to have more focus and compassion for herself, the work shouldn't be games with other people, the work is trying to figure out not being self destructive and frankly confusing the people that were trying to be helpful. Creating an angry, chaotic space for attention is like locking yourself in a burning building and choosing not to get help put the fire out.
