Speaking of jfod..... two crazy pill episodes ago, he did a YouTube live and put it out as a podcast episode, in it he spoke his truth, he wishes he didn't get the vaccine it's all bs won't be getting the booster etc. Etc. Technocratic state blah blah blah.

Jerome, we met you once in New York and you seemed so relaxed. It’s hard to imagine you have social anxiety or something similar, but I get it, it’s hard to know what’s going on in a person.
By having my job for 16 years I got rid of any kind of social anxiety because I had to. But never mind, I have other mental problems I go to therapy for. |

Today was therapy and it was good.
I realized that my compulsive thoughts try to prepare me for every situation especially in fields where I don’t feel so sure about myself. I try to think about everything that could go wrong and can’t let go. My brain micro manages. If I can one day trust myself that I will the right thing in the situation, i will be able to let the intrusive thoughts go. Oh the brain.Endlessly fascinating. |

Hah thanks! I'll tell ya, I fee d-d-d-drained after a KATG week! I spend all of my extrovert energy trying to absorb any potential awkward energy in the room. ![]() My anxiety is paired with my self-esteem. At a KATG event I fee very comfortable because we're already family. At a party where I don't know anyone, I just become an observer unless I already know someone, and then we become observers together ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My therapy is really working, I managed to stop stress eating and I could never imagine this would be possible. I lost lots of weight by letting go late evening and nightly snacks. Otherwise I eat what I want and it works? Who knew? ( probably mentally healthy people)

Lots of it has to do with my job. I know rejection, but experiencing it in a professional context helps me not taking it personally. But it sometimes still hurts! Still, it’s like a desensitization therapy. Overall people seem to enjoy me and I get energy from social interactions. The German call it Rampen Sau. It’s something like limelight hog. Parties don’t drain me. But also, I’m always the same. Radical authenticity is key for enjoying social gatherings. Stay true to yourself and you feel relaxed among people, no matter who they are. I still enjoy quiet time and nature a lot on weekends. Last edited by Apia resurrected; 11-05-2021 at 02:08 PM. |
