I am all for the KATG community buying that house. I want to see if his dad buried anything in all of those holes that he had his kids dig.

I felt the same as you about Barry after 2 seasons Newsy and had turned my back on it, but then folks kept going on and on and on and on saying how good S3 was so I figured I'd give it a crack for a couple of eps and ... turns out they were right! Sally, who's worse than an asshole in S1-2 - she's a boring asshole - all of a sudden has an engrossing storyline in S3, plus secret VIP Hank gets a fun AF storyline. The Gene and Funches stuff is also top notch in S3, and the action scenes also take a huge step up in quality.

Also totes with Newsy on the TBGWT House of Dragons recaps - the show is weirdly silly (it feels like they had no charismatic Brits left over to cast in the new show after GoT used up all the good ones, plus the bad white wigs are SO EFFIN DISTRACTING!) but the Rod & Karen recaps are pure gold.
