4 days 50 hours poker challenge ITT
What better way to spend my last weekend before school? The challenge is 50 hours in 4 days, should be about 40k hands. The play will mostly be .25/.5nl rush poker on Full Tilt, but I may move up if I make a bunch and feel like I'm playing well.
I'll keep the thread updated with intermittent graphs. Video of first 30 minutes for good luck: ![]() gl hf dd gogogo! |

O noes, a setback!
![]() Ran 3 expensive bluffs simultaneously on 3 tables that all failed, and then lost a couple of all-ins as a favorite. Gonna re-watch yesterday's Jersey Shore and then go back on. Last edited by DWarrior; 01-14-2011 at 08:07 PM. |

It wouldn't be a fun challenge if I just won the whole time.
![]() Some consolation is I made like $20 in a side tournament and another $30 in bonuses, so my hourly is only like -$30/hr. HM says I played 8 hours, but I think it's closer to like 5. Part of the 8 hours was spent 1-tabling while watching jersey shore and playing a private tourney on the side, so I don't really count that. Also spent 1 hour watching someone else play. Most of the losses are pretty straight forward, getting it in with AA or KK and losing, or getting hands in vs draws and losing. Probably two most interesting hands of the day: Full Tilt Poker $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players UTG: $50.25 MP: $23.75 CO: $102.55 BTN: $50.00 SB: $51.80 Hero (BB): $81.25 Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BB with 7 ![]() ![]() 2 folds, CO calls $0.50, 2 folds, Hero checks Flop: ($1.25) 4 ![]() ![]() ![]() Hero checks, CO checks Turn: ($1.25) 9 ![]() Hero checks, CO checks River: ($1.25) T ![]() Hero bets $0.75, CO raises to $2.50, Hero raises to $80.75 all in, CO calls $78.25 "The ace is not the nut flush here" Final Pot: $162.75 CO mucks A ![]() Hero shows 7s J ![]() Hero wins $159.75 (Rake: $3.00) Full Tilt Poker $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players SB: $22.25 BB: $40.80 UTG: $115.95 Hero (MP): $93.25 CO: $20.00 BTN: $62.50 Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is MP with T ![]() ![]() UTG raises to $1.75, Hero calls $1.75, 4 folds Flop: ($4.25) 4 ![]() ![]() ![]() UTG bets $4.25, Hero calls $4.25 Turn: ($12.75) 6 ![]() UTG bets $9, Hero calls $9 River: ($30.75) J ![]() UTG bets $30.75, Hero requests TIME, Hero calls $30.75 "The J probably didn't help you, nice busted flush draw" Final Pot: $92.25 UTG shows Q ![]() ![]() Hero mucks TT UTG wins $89.25 (Rake: $3.00) ![]()
