Dave. C'mon. Quit being defensive. This thread isn't here to make you feel bad about not donating. It's here to make people feel good about donating and to encourage things that are going to help out KATG. Posting negative shit in this thread is counter-productive.

If you can't afford it, that's fine, not everyone can. It doesn't mean you're evil. Necessarily. But why even bother posting about how you can't donate in here? Let's keep this shit positive. Let's at least have this one beautiful thread on the forums as a blooming flower out of the torment and pestilence.

I'm grouchy in the morning. I just wasn't a fan of the "I can't even afford AIDS medicine, but I'm giving Keith my car. What's your excuse, cuntbag?" tone. And it's just been payday in quite a good month so I'm not even projecting my feelings of being poor. Maybe I am just a cunt?

I hear you brother, I don't think the confrontational tone is the best idea either when it comes to encouraging peeps to donate, but it is in keeping with the generally confrontational attitude that goes along with KATG. I think the more important thing is that even though their tone isn't the sweetest in the world at least mean well towards KATG.

I mean, a good thing to keep in mind right now is probably that even if one or two peeps rub us the wrong way at the end of the day we're on the same team here. We all want KATG to succeed. And if this thread Greg's made can be a big ol' banner of Fuck Yeah then that could play a part in helping the show.

Two months ago I started the recurring 5 dollar donation. Since I'm in Portugal this means less than 4 euro. Even if I'm a post grad student living off a scholarship, it didn't even dent the budget. Glad I did it!
