Still some decent places and cool areas in those, but the neighborhoods get progressively worse.

In general I'd say anything west of 72nd street you going to be in safe boring neighborhood.

Don't know what kind of stuff you are into, but Nebraska is great for hunting and fishing so if you want to develop those hobbies you are in good shape.

Casinos are right on the river on the Iowa side.

I went to Creighton. The downtown area is called the Old Market. There are some cool lofts in the area that are a little more expensive, but they are stumbling distance to some bars and clubs.
