Any NY KATG'ers about to get married?

I don't want to reiterate the news here because you already know it. I know that there are a lot of you that took the stance of saying that you would not get married until gays could get married. I want to know roughly how many of our population are getting married within the next two years gay or straight.

Just b/c gays in New York can get married doesn't mean all gays can get married. There's still a loop hole. No worries.

Quebec is pretty opened minded about living arrangements here. Gays can marry and common law couples are considered married with all the same rights.

Because of the attitude of the government and the society I live in I don't understand why anyone would care, why it would be a problem....call me a wide eyed free thinker but love is love so marry if ya want to. I know there's a whole rule of thinking that people will live together or marry just for the benefits but whatev's

We are common-law, have been since 2006. We have a child and have an engagement ring but no wedding plans. I am thinking about trying to tie him down this year as we will ahve been together 10 years but things are good as they are and I am happy as they are.

I am aware. I stated NY KATG'ers. I honestly wish all 50 states would consider.

On a side note if you think about this oppression issue this is nothing new. It gay marriage now but before that it was african american civil rights and before that women rights vote, native american rights and so on.

I hope not unless you are a polygamist.

Well, it's possible I'll get divorced in the next two years. I expect that even less. But, you know, just saying.
