Anyone Down for Some Fantasy Hockey?

The secret santa thread is posted, so we know that that means... it's almost hockey season! I threw a league together on a whim (http://hockey.fantasysports.yahoo.com/league/katg. The League ID # is 30045, and the password is 'balls', because gosh darn it, I'm 21 and people of my ilk find that humorous.) to see if maybe we could get a hockey league going.

Scoring is rotisserie; for skaters the categories that are scored are:
Goals, assists, points, plus/minus, penalty minutes, power play points, and shorthanded points.

And for goalies:
Wins, losses, goals against average, save percentage, and shutouts.

As of now I have the draft time set for Sunday October 3rd at 7:30pm EDT, but that's just because it's the Sunday before the beginning of the season. We can change it to something sooner if everyone feels like moving on with it.

The rosters allow 4 C's, 4 LW's, and 4 RW's, 6 defensemen and 2 goalies, with 5 bench spots. There's also 5 injured reserve slots, so you don't get fucked as badly as the Red Wings did last year with injuries if someone gets hurt.

Maximum of 20 teams, it's the most yahoo allows in a league so it's first come, first serve if it comes down to it.

And almost all of these rules can be easily changed at the drop of a hat, so holla if you'd rather it be another way and if enough people agree it'll be done.

I don't really know much about it but I have loved hockey since I was a kid. (Lived for street Hockey growing up, and then I moved to the south

) My friends made me use My hockey net for pussy soccer.

But I have been wanting to get into a sport so if you don't mind a rookie Id like to get in on it (I will do research)

I love playing with stats and all that stuff so this sounds like a lot of fun.

I too had difficulties and was about to post the same comment... Then I noticed the league ID# and all was well in the internet realm.
