Like any other taste, music tastes change a lot over time, especially when you're in your teens (or so I found). A while back I took a look through my old CD's and concert tickets while essentially muttering "what the fuck... WHAT THE FUCK..." under my breath the whole time.
I think my biggest embarrassment is I used to be a huge Limp Bizkit fan. HUGE. The reasons why are completely beyond me now... My first concert was Family Values '99. I skipped school to drive to the nearest Best Buy and pick up "Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water". I still know all the lyrics to "Nookie" by heart. Fucking hell, I have no idea what I was thinking back then... Anyone else have any good examples? (as a side-note I can say shitty nu-metal bands like LB and Korn are what lead me to the amazing assortment of metal bands I listen to now, so I guess they were good for something)

On the other hand, you are a Dex fan, so I have to weigh this information appropriately. |

I dunno, I get weird looks from the few people who remember Oingo Boingo, but then I'm like, "Danny Elfman is obviously a musical genius, so you can't knock his rock band." And then I skip away singing, "Nasty habits..." |
