Best BBQ In Vegas

My Brother is going to Vegas in May. He is OBSESSED with BBQ here in Montreal. Where the BBQ culture is lack luster to say the least. He told me he wasn't going to leave the pool side bar but I am INSISTING that he venture out of the hotel to try REAL South Western BBQ. He must take pictures with his face covered in BBQ sauce and send it to me HAHAHAHA

SO, Does anyone have any suggestions on where he would get the best BBQ in Vegas? It can't be TOO far off the strip.

I'm not sure Las Vegas is really known for BBQ...?

Unless I'm totally wrong about this, Vegas is known for cheap/ free food, (for gamblers) but maybe there's something.

Last time I was there I went to Salt Lick which is supposedly popular in Texas. It was eh... It's now closed.

There are some high rated ones. Go with a search.

Eat anywhere in Vegas it is all the same, then stop at Oklahoma joes in Kansas City, KS on your way back through. It is in a gas station and has the best ribs you will ever eat.

I haven't been to vegas since 2001 but the beer and ribs here is pretty good. Vegas isn't really known for the BBQ, is isn't really part of the south
