wtf
i can't believe no one lists bill hicks this is blasphemy 1. bill hicks 2. mitch hedburg 3. richard pryor 4. george carlin (even though he's become grouchy and senile) 5. joe rogan (yes, the fear factor guy. he openly makes fun of how stupid fear factor is, and says he does it only for the millions of dollars they pay him to do it, so he can do whatever kind of stand-up he wants for the rest of his life. he's truly dedicated to the art of stand-up and his is some of the best around.) 6. eddie izzard (i think he recently gave up being a transvestite) 7. david cross (even though he can be a bit douchey) 8. chris rock 9. steven wright 10. patton oswalt 11. todd barry 12. doug stanhope 13. jim gaffigan ("I watch a lot of TV, I drink a lot of coffee, but you know what's really addictive? Heroin.") 14. louis ck 15. jonathan katz i'm probably leaving tons of good comedians out.. but that's what i got for now. lenny bruce wasn't funny. |

I'm gonna say Cosby was awesome. "Chocolate Cake for Breakfast" is one of the funniest routines to me. I also dig David Cross, Jim Gaffigan, Mitch Hedburg, and Eddie Murphy ("Oh, I see, you just saw Rocky.").

Chris Rock- Bring The Pain
Mitch Hedberg- Mitch All Together Eddie Izzard- Dress to Kill (but video only, doesn't translate well to audio) Based simply how hard I laughed when I heard the album. |

EDIT: Had to add that he was genius in Arrested Development, but that's because the role suited his shitty acting. |
