No, i'll share
Take a boneless trimmed blade roast. Salt and pepper it and sear it in a dutch oven. Remove it from the pan, put it in a crock pot. Chop one rib of celery, peel and chp one carrot, chop two onions and two cloves of garlic. Sautee in the pan where you cooked the meat with 1-2 tbsps of olive oil. Add 3 bay leaves, dry rosmary and thyme, you could also add frsh rosmary and thyme. Add to crock pot. Deglase dutch oven with chicken stock, add more salt and pepper. Now, heres the key ingredient, add one packet of gravy powder , i use french's mushroom gravy, and then add chicken stock about 2/3 up the side of the blade roast. Stir a bit and cover, cook for 4 hrs on high 6 hrs on low. Last 20 minutes add frozen corn. Delicious. But a hot mess it you dont add that gravy packet 1758 |
