i’m allowing this story to unfurl exactly as they saw it. it’s def a drama sci-fi not an action sci-fi, but if Patrick agreed to it, i’m gonna sir rapt with attention.

I’m watching, although I didn’t get a chance last night. I like it, however I’m super biased because I’m a fan of Stewart’s.
We all can agree that Keith would hate, I mean, HATE, this show, right? XD |

Just finished it today actually. I had read some headlines of people being really upset/disappointed/etc with the series and how it turned out but I actually thought it was pretty good!
The premise was a little ridiculous but I just rolled with it and was glad I did. Good story with great moments. The only thing that got under my skin were the phaser and warp special effects. Someone on the SFX team thought they were working on Star Wars lol |

Finished Discovery s2 and Picard last week
Discovery was kind of a giant mess. Picard was weird in a good way, then kind of dull, then good (once 7 got there) but I don't think it stuck the landing. I found it odd the two shared a very similar underlying plot but weren't connected to each other. Also weird that that plot was ripped out of Mass Effect |

Thought it was okay overall, didn't feel very Star Trek to me, but I guess that's the point. Not totally digging the ending.
I will say that the one death at the end had me welling up. Best part of the season imo. |
