Have any of you gotten crazy messages on your TV, while you're watching "you shows" ? I have. The image got all static-ee, and then some text popped-up saying:

Are you alive?

Help

I am still alive...

But so is IT.

I was all ???????

Then I remembered Matt B. had told me Cloverfield started an alternate reality game. So then I wiki'ed this.

"On July 9, 2007, producer J. J. Abrams stated that, while a number of websites were being developed to market the film, the only official site that had been found was 1-18-08.com.[25] At the site, a collection of time-coded photos are provided to visitors to piece together a series of events and interpret their meanings.[26] As part of the viral marketing campaign, the drink Slusho! has served as a tie-in. The drink had previously appeared in producer Abrams' previous creation, the TV series Alias.[27]"

Any thoughts on this silly goose movie, that is interrupting my Degrassi marathon?

The only thing I know is that my roommate and I were duped a year ago by http://www.ethanhaaswasright.com/ It was a bunch of puzzles that once solved, told you to check back on august 1st. we did and it was an ad for a pc game.

It's got a lot more stuff about the game it's advertising up now and this site http://www.circa1978.com/catch/ehwr/ says it's connected to Cloverfield but I don't see how.

Abram's production studio "Bad Robot" is the same group that do LOST (many writers and producers from LOST have worked on Cloverfield).

they did an ARG last year for Lost which was pretty good. I have an actual Apollo Bar, a chocolate they invented for the show. (similar to what they'll do with Slusho)
