CSS makes me cry...Help, please.

I got invited to a bloggers brunch that is apparently a biggerdeal than I was originally led to believe. Apparently it's a select group of "up and coming" bloggers and we'll get to meet with advertisers and whatnot.

I have read a book and stared at multiple internet tutorials but CSS has stumped the kid. I can't for the life of me figure this shit out. I even tried just fucking with my existing template and it comes out looking like it was done by a team of crack addled monkeys.

All I need is a clean right sided two column layout with the header and Category titles in this font

Any help would garner you love, admiration and as soon as I can be in my house for 10 minutes without feeling like the heat will kill me and I can look for it a $25 gift code for Amazon.com I got last year.
